We collaborate with local health professionals, trained volunteers, and Lions Clubs members throughout our state to provide medical examination, treatment, and prevention of vision and hearing problems to improve the health and wellbeing of people across the state.
President & CEO, Lions Vision Services
As President/CEO, Winn Fitzgerald is responsible for running all facets of the organization. She studied Accounting at Columbia College and spent the beginning of her professional career in the Business Personal Property and Insurance industry. Passionate about people, she sought to make a career change to a field that would allow her to serve others, which eventually landed her at Lions Vision Services, originally as the Programs Coordinator. Winn’s strong interpersonal skills made her a great fit to the organization, allowing her to build meaningful relationships with the Lions of South Carolina as well as our Program Partners. The stories of our clients and how our assistance impacts their lives, drives her desire to continue to work to build our organization so that no one needlessly lives in darkness or silence.
Technical Coordinator, Lions Vision Services
Graduating in 2007 from Montpelier High School in Northwest Ohio, Andy attended college at Bowling Green State University. After graduating from college Andy started volunteering more seriously with the American Red Cross, serving on the disaster response team in Ohio then in the Spartanburg/Greenville area. After moving to South Carolina he joined the Americorps VISTA program in Myrtle Beach, which meant working for a variety of non-profits up and down the Grand Strand. At the end of the term, he
moved to Columbia and shortly after applied for the job of Technical Coordinator with Lions Vision Services.
