Multiple District 32
The Lions Clubs of South Carolina, Multiple District 32, was the thirty-second district chartered as part of Lions Clubs International. In April, 1922, the first Lions Club in South Carolina was organized in Columbia. Four more South Carolina clubs were established in 1922: Spartanburg in May, Orangeburg and Anderson in June, and Greenville in August. All five of these clubs have a continuous record since then, and are strong clubs today. Fellowship and fun have always been an important part of Lionism and of Lions meetings. When compatible people are together in a pleasant situation, fellowship and enjoyment are assured. Add to that a common purpose of -SERVICEā, and sometimes the fun is a direct outgrowth of efforts to further that purpose.
